SEALXPERT MASTIC

FEATURES:

• High build product for sealing, filling and caulking applications where a protective, waterproof and non setting mastic is required
• Moisture resistance

APPLICATION:

• Suitable for sealing concealed lap joints between plastics, metals, timber, glass, masonry, and expanded foam panels
• Recommended for offshore environments, including splash zones, refineries, power plants, bridges, buildings, mining equipment and general structural steel.
• Use in the installation of cool rooms, prefabricated construction and gasket sealed windscreens to exclude draughts and water penetration through joints in materials.
• Can be specified where extended recoating properties for polyurethane topcoats are requested (typically travel coating)

SEALXPERT UNDERWATER PETRO PASTE AND PETRO TAPE APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

	Priming pipes, rods and cables. Apply SealXpert Underwater Petro Paste to entire area to be wrapped with tape.
	Apply SealXpert Petro Tape. Start at the 9 o’ clock position. Ensure that the compound side of tape is to the substrate.
	Starting a new roll of tape. Overlap ends of tape by one tape width.
	Overlapping each turn by 55% gives a double thickness.
